Paula Argento, Esq. is Managing Director of Argento Venture Group, an international corporate advisory service specializing in hospitality real estate investment, private equity and debt finance, and foreign investor and company representation in the US. The group has affiliated offices in Los Angeles, Washington, DC and Henderson, NV.
Paula is also principal to the Argento International Law Firm, an administrative, corporate, finance, securities, international and government relations practice in Washington DC. She has been counsel on numerous securities law, debt and equity finance matters. She provides sophisticated contract, corporate governance, risk and litigation management, deal structuring, investor relations and compliance services to dynamic high growth companies.
Paula's diverse industry client base has also included Fortune 1000, investment banks, hedge funds and financial institutions. Her transaction consulting totals in excess of $6 billion dollars
A graduate of Boston College (BA, high honors), Paula holds a law degree from the Catholic University of America (JD), and a Masters degree in Banking and Finance Law (LLM) from the Boston University Law School. Paula served as a staff counsel to the US Senate Judiciary Committee, providing legislative counsel on a wide range of issues, including the nomination hearing of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
Paula's past affiliations include Hennessey, Stambler and Siebert, a cutting edge Washington, DC communications and entertainment law firm, and DeMartino, Finkelstein, Rosen and Virga, a Washington, DC preeminently rated corporate and securities law firm. Paula consulted in Greenwich, CT on pension fund real estate secured debt, banking reorganizations and film finance.
Paula has volunteered to the United Way and to the World Bank on the award of humanitarian micro-cap funds to entrepreneurs in developing countries. She was also a member of the Junior League of Greenwich.
