John N. Zarian is a member of the trial section of Stoel Rivesí litigation practice group. His practice includes an emphasis on intellectual property and complex business litigation, as well as class action, securities and antitrust cases. John is an experienced trial lawyer. He has served as lead counsel in a wide range of matters involving unfair competition, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents, class actions, contractual disputes, business torts, securities, antitrust, real estate, commercial law and wrongful death claims.
John received his Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Masters Degree in Finance from the University of Utah, where he was elected studentbody president and was appointed a Marriner S. Eccles Fellow in Political Economy. In 1989, he received his law degree from the University of Southern California, where he was elected class president and was on the staff of the Southern California Law Review.
During the 2004 election, John was deployed to New Mexico as a legal volunteer for the RNC's 72 Hour Task Force.
John is admitted to practice law in California, Idaho and the District of Columbia. He is rated "AV" by Martindale-Hubbell.
