Experienced lawyer admitted to practice in Florida & New Hampshire. Since moving permanently to New Hampshire in 2012, he concentrates on advising a limited number of Florida clients and advising New Hampshire lawyers on Florida law matters for their clients. Concentration on business & corporate law, real estate, complex business & financing transactions, & probate & trust administration & litigation. Significant experience in the negotiation, structuring & preparation of documentation for corporate & real estate transactions, including commercial leases; asset acquisitions & sales; financings, re-financings & permanent financings for acquisitions, construction & development; financing modifications and loan workouts; real estate & equipment leasing; syndications & joint ventures; corporate, limited partnership & LLC formations & ongoing activities; mergers & acquisitions; unsecured borrowing & lending; & advising family offices. Litigation experience, with bench & jury trials in state & federal court, as well as with appeals briefed & argued in state & federal appellate courts. Hands-on experience with federal & state securities laws.

Served two terms as chair of a grievance committee of The Florida Bar for the 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida (probable cause panel for lawyer discipline system). Has been actively involved in various civic affairs.

A Tampa native, he now resides in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire after 40 years of law practice in South Florida. Undergraduate & law degrees from Tulane & studied in the MBA program at NYU. Admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida & New Hampshire, & admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Southern District of Florida & the District of New Hampshire, the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, the US Tax Court, & the US Supreme Court. Mr. Silber is av® rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Before entering the private practice of law, Mr. Silber served as an officer of Fiduciary Trust Company of New York (now called Fiduciary Trust International) and of a Florida-based public real estate syndicator that became a successful public savings and loan holding company.

Mr. Silber is a past president of the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, responsible for the Scouting program in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Daniel Webster Council, responsible for the Scouting program throughout most of New Hampshire (member of its Investment & Audit Committees).

In addition to his extensive commitment to Scouting and the Republican Party, he is a life endowment member of the National Rifle Association.

He also holds active memberships in the Federalist Society, the Second Amendment Foundation, the Pacific Legal Foundation, and the Cato Institute.
