A Tampa native, he now resides in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire after 40 years of law practice in South Florida. Undergraduate & law degrees from Tulane & studied in the MBA program at NYU. Before entering the private practice of law, Mr. Silber served as an officer of Fiduciary Trust Company of New York (now called Fiduciary Trust International) and of a Florida-based public real estate syndicator that became a successful public savings and loan holding company.
Mr. Silber is a past president of the South Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, responsible for the Scouting program in Broward, Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties, and currently serves on the Executive Board of the Daniel Webster Council, responsible for the Scouting program throughout most of New Hampshire (member of its Investment & Audit Committees).
In addition to his extensive commitment to Scouting and the Republican Party, he is a life endowment member of the National Rifle Association.
He also holds active memberships in the Federalist Society, the Second Amendment Foundation, the Pacific Legal Foundation, and the Cato Institute.
